Welcome to Realicons.com, just about the only website around to offer buddy icons of actual things. By that I mean, no cartoons, because cartoons are for kids; unless the actual thing in question is a cartoon, because sometimes cartoons are not for kids. This site is two years old, and dramatically unsuccesful with the worldwide icon audience, overall, but if you've stumbled upon it consider yourself lucky, because it really is the best buddy icon site there is. Realicons is really all about the Art Icons, and therefore a girl site, by the way.

Here is how Realicons works: to save bandwidth, all icons have jpg copies that load up on the page (they are what you see), but the actual icons are nice fat beautiful bitmap masterpieces. To get the actual icons, DON'T right-click on the picture and 'save picture as.' Either just click on the picture to have it load up on aim or use the '(link)' link that is beside the name (right click and 'save target as') to put the bitmap onto your computer for future use. Hooray!

Animecons do not have those links because I do not wish for it to be so easy for other sites to have the bitmap versions. Those sites will have to work at least somewhat as hard as I did to make them in the first place, for-real for-real.
